Information about us

The terms and conditions set out the way in which METRO RETAIL operates via our website and its subsidiaries. Our website is intended for Indian residents who are over 18 years of age.

Ordering

Whilst all efforts are made to ensure accuracy of description, specifications and pricing there may be occasions where errors occur. As a large volume of our stock is refurbished or used, the images and descriptions of the products on our website are for illustrative purposes only and are designed to provide you with an approximate idea of the products available. Although we have made every effort to display the true colour and cosmetic condition of the products, we cannot guarantee that this will accurately reflect the true state of each products. Accordingly, the products which are supplied to you may vary slightly from the images on the website.

As our business involves the sale of Electronic and Networking products, the detailed specifications of the products on our site reflect the specifications provided by the relevant manufacturer. Additional information and specifications of the products on our website may be available from the manufacturer direct. Please contact us should you have any queries or wish to obtain additional product details prior to placing your order.

  1. METRO RETAIL warrants that the products will, at the time of delivery, correspond to the description. It is the responsibility of the customer to check the compatibility and suitability of the products for any particular purpose prior to ordering. 
  2. All products displayed on our website are subject to availability. We will inform you by e-mail as soon as possible if a product you have ordered is not available and we will not process your order.
  3. METRO RETAIL may accept or reject any order at our own discretion, whether on account of the equipment being no longer available or for any other reason whatsoever.

Shipping

  1. We aim to dispatch your order in 48 Hrs for next day delivery. If upgrades to hardware or software are requested, please allow an additional 24 hours for dispatch so we can fully test the products before shipment. 
  2. Ownership of the products will only pass to you, the customer, when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of the products, including delivery charges and there will be no delivery until all funds have been received.
  3. For most product deliveries we use courier and requires 1–5-day delivery as    standard with a tracking number which will be issued once your order has been confirmed so that your products may be tracked. 

Order online with In-Store Pickup

  • Many of our items can now be ordered online and picked up at our Hyderabad  Warehouse.

 

Please Note

When picking up your order, you or your designee will need to provide:

  •   A copy of the Order Confirmation email
  •   A valid ID

For most product deliveries we use courier and requires 1-5  day delivery as standard with a tracking number which will be issued once your order has been confirmed so that your products may be tracked. 

 

 Returns

METRO RETAIL  is committed to the provision of quality and reliable products with outstanding customer service. Buyers are entitled to cancel their orders and return the products within 10 days for a full exchange of the purchase price of the goods.

The following returns procedure and policy should be followed:

  1. The buyer must contact us via e-mail prior to returning goods at Support@metroonline.in
  2. The buyer must return the product(s) to our warehouse within 7 days of receiving the goods.
  3. All return products must be packed in the original packaging including any accessories,
  4. The buyer must include Name, Delivery address, Date of Purchase and Order Number.
  5. The buyer will be responsible for return shipping costs.
  6. All items must be returned to the following address:

Incorrect/Damaged Goods

We try very hard to ensure that you receive your order in pristine condition. If you do not receive your products as ordered, please contact us. In the unlikely event that the product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us immediately, this will be given special priority.

Should you deem a product to be defective, not as described or otherwise unsuitable, then we reserve the right to repair, replace the item. We will notify you of our intentions via e-mail within a reasonable period of time. We will usually process your repair, replacement in any case, within 7 days of receiving the defective product. 

 

Product Descriptions

The images and descriptions of the product(s) on our website are for illustrative purposes only and are designed to provide you with an approximate idea about the product. We try to be as accurate as possible, however we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content is accurate, completely reliable, or error free. It is the responsibility of the customer to check the compatibility and suitability of products for any particular purpose prior to ordering. From time to time there may be information on the website that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing and availability. We reserve the right to correct any of these errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order). We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Prices

The prices advertised on this site are for orders placed are Excluding Of GST as applicable.

The price of any products will be as quoted on our site from time to time, except in cases of obvious error. Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you an Acceptance Confirmation.

Our website contains a large number of products and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the products listed on our site may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our dispatch procedure so that, where a product’s correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the product to you. If a product’s correct price is higher than the price stated on our website, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions prior to dispatching the product, or reject your order and notify you of such rejection.

We are under no obligation to provide the product to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you an Acceptance Confirmation, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as a mis-pricing.

Payment for all products must be by credit or debit card. We shall not dispatch any products until we receive cleared funds. No payment shall be deemed to have been received until we have received cleared funds. 

Your credit/debit card details will be encrypted by us to minimize the possibility of unauthorized access or disclosure. Authority for payment must be given at the time of order. If there is a problem taking payment for all or part of your order, we may contact you by telephone or e-mail.

 

Warranty

Unless expressly stated otherwise in the Product’s description, we provide a warranty from delivery and for a period of 7 days on all machines. However, this warranty does not apply in the circumstances described below.

The warranty does not apply to any defect in a product arising from:

  1. a) wear and tear warranty Seal on product  
  2. b) wilful damage, abnormal storage or working conditions, accident, negligence by you or by any third party;
  3. c) your failure to operate or use the products in accordance with the user instructions;
  4. d) any alteration or repair by you or by a third party who is not one of our authorized repairers; or
  5. e) any software installed by you or on your behalf; or any file corruption, internet usage or any virus or bug which infiltrates or damages the products.

We reserve the right to test any products returned to us in accordance with these Terms. If, on testing, it transpires that you have not complied with the provisions of these Terms and/or any product(s) returned to us is damaged through misuse, has missing parts or is in an unsalable condition due to your own acts or omissions, we will have no liability to repair or replace the products and shall be entitled to return the products to you in their existing condition
